Medical Marijuana Suckers


Things You'll Need:
1. Sucker/Lollipop/Candy Mold or Baking Sheet
2. 1 cup Sugar
3. 1/2 cup Water
4. Candy Thermometer
5. Spoon
6. 1/3 cup Light Corn Syrup
7. 1/2-1 1/2 teaspoons Flavoring (Hard candy/sucker flavoring available at drugstores, supermarkets, or online)
8. Vegetable oil or non-stick cooking spray
9. kool-aid package of your color
10. 1/2 cup marijuana/everclear mix


Marijuana MIX Recipe-
STEP 1. If marijuana is not already dry, dry marijuana in Oven on 275 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Be sure not to burn your medicine.
STEP 2.. Fill a cooking pot with a couple inches of hot tap water and place on a burner. The water helps control the heat so that the temperature doesn't change too fast.
STEP 3. Put marijuana in 1 cup of Everclear or Vodka, or until completely covered, in separate pyrex pot. Turn on the burner and set the heat to a low setting and watch the temperature of the water slowly climb. Put the pot containing marijuana/everclear mix in the water filled pot, careful not to let it tip over (this is called “double-boiling”). Carefully adjust the flame or electricity to keep the marijuana/everclear solution between 160 ºF and 165 ºF and maintain this for 20 minutes.. It important to stir with a fork once in awhile, just in case some of the marijuana is not completely covered by the liquid.
STEP 4.Cool off the solution and put coffee filter paper inside and around a drinking cup, wrap rubber band around the outside to keep it in place. Pour the solution onto the filter paper and let it drip into the drinking cup. Once it's done dripping, grab the filter paper and the marijuana and squeeze out every last drop. Be careful, as the solution may be hot still.

Sucker Recipe-
Step 1:
Put your sucker molds with the sticks in them on wax paper or a greased cookie sheet. You can also use regular candy molds or even just a baking sheet. Make sure to grease the molds (baking sheet) with vegetable oil or a nonstick cooking spray so the sucker won’t stick to it
Step 2:
Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan. Cook it over med-high heat, stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Boil until it reaches the hard-crack stage, which is about 300 degree on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and add food coloring slowly then add the flavoring.
Step 3:
Add 1/2 cup of marijuana-everclear(vodka) mix (recipe for mix above). Stir until blended (do not over stir or suckers will have air bubbles in them).
Step 4:
Pour slowly into the molds. If using a cookie sheet, spoon out solution over sticks place evenly around the sheet, or pour it onto the greased cookie sheet and score at once with metal spatula or knife to mark squares for “hard candies”. Don't worry about any bubbles, they'll go away on their own.
Step 5:
Wait until the suckers are completely cooled and remove the molds. Wrap them individually. Put them in little snack baggies so that they're airtight or the humidity ruins them. Make sure to keep these locked away so children or family don’t eat one by mistake. Enjoy!
